Tummy time

One month old today!

I can't believe we have reached the one month mark already. I don't know if it was exactly right but Zachary rolled over from his tummy to his back. He is doing very well at tummy time and enjoys the new sling that I bought to keep him close and work through some of the day with him "tucked in" for a nap or a feeding. It has helped so much during dinner and anything that has to be done in the kitchen. I was able to make omelets yesterday for Aaron and I and have also worked through dinner with him in his sling. There was a girl who works at Eddie V's who told me it was the best thing money could buy and I am in agreement thus far.

Last night he didnt sleep as well as he usually does but this morning he made up for it with a long nap and he played under his activity mat, on his infant seat, and has been wide awake and enjoying our Monday so far this morning. He is currently napping and making his cooing and grunting noises which I find to be so cute!

Zachary is doing well at 21 days old today!! He weighed in at 7 lbs 9 oz yesterday at my lactation appointment yesterday. He is feeding well and needs to gain just a bit more to be where he needs to be. The lactation consultant assured me that he is getting enough milk and maybe just increase the frequency of the feedings.

He is a very sweet baby boy. He only cries when he gets his diaper changed and he is really an angel. He loves his swing, tummy time, snuggling, and taking walks (when it is warm enough outside).
